FYI as there's no official warning on Gemalto's Website, yet.
Solution:
It's possible to have a co-installation of several JREs.
JAVA-path for Tomcat needs to be set manually to point to a supported (elder) version.
Incident already reported and under investigation.
My personal wish:
Gemalto, please get rid, of Java in EMS (entirely).
